TERIYAKI CHICKEN

Ingredients(serves one)

  • 150g chicken
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sake

Instructions

  1. Mix the soy sauce, mirin, sugar and sake in a bowl.
  2. Add the chicken to the bowl and place the bowl in a refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a frying pan and shallow fry the chicken slowly over a gentle heat.
  4. When the chicken is baked to golden brown, pour over the sauce. Cover the pan and continue cooking on a low heat for a little while.
  5. When the sauce thickens, remove and arrange the chicken on a plate.
